Soil & Groundwater Studies > Groundwater Monitoring

How do you know if you’re doing a good job? You set goals, observe your progress against milestones and correct when necessary. That’s what groundwater monitoring is about too. In some cases contamination at a site may involve groundwater monitoring only.  However, in others, both remediation and effectiveness monitoring are necessary.  And, if your site qualifies for Natural Attenuation, then monitoring is equally critical.

Cutting corners in this area is foolish.  This is typically a place for junior personnel, but they must be trained and the data must be interpreted by experienced individuals.  If this doesn't happen, you will still not have an accurate picture of how you are doing.
