Sierra has completed literally hundreds of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs). Phase I ESA’s are visual assessments of a tract of land or engineered facility supported by database research and research on historical occupancy. We follow the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standard, modified to adhere to the “All Appropriate Inquiry” criteria unless a customer has their own format they wish to use. In some cases we have assisted our clients in the preparation of their corporate-wide ESA format based on their unique facility conditions and corporate risks profile.
