Careers

A career at Sierra Piedmont is a hybrid of what large and small firms have to offer. Like a few smaller firms, we offer a flat organizational hierarchy, a variety of work assignments, continuous feedback from your manager, and the potential for rapid advancement based upon one's abilities. Like some larger firms, Sierra offers a real commitment to both in-house and externally provided training as well as fair and competitive compensation for the individual. After all, that's what we are… individuals… all working together as a team.

What makes Sierra Piedmont different is the human dynamic that we bring to our customers through our professional staff. In today's world, the real challenge remains in whether a person is a behavioral fit for the position and our company. If the latter isn’t satisfied, no amount of skill can overcome the mismatch. We understand clearly that a key challenge for today's companies is to provide an environment where you can make a difference, be acknowledged for it, reap those rewards and know that your ideas are recognized. All this and more can happen at Sierra Piedmont.

At Sierra Piedmont, we’re always looking for top talent.  If you are interested in working for Sierra Piedmont, please email your resume to Liz Grassmuck.

We are currently looking for dedicated professionals for the following career opportunities:

The candidate should enjoy interacting with all types of people, be organized, detailed-oriented, willing to learn and thrive in a deadline-driven environment.  Also critical to the position is the ability to effectively communicate (both written and verbal) with manager, peers, vendors, and clients.

Chicago, Houston and Orlando

In support of Sierra Piedmont’s strategic growth initiative, we are looking to either hire a branch  manager or align with/acquire a 1-5 person company in the Chicago, Orlando and Houston areas.  If you are looking for an opportunity to have autonomy but not have the administrative or financial headache of starting your own company, this would be a great position for you.

If you are already operating as a small firm, and you can exhibit a long and successful history of providing environmental services to mid - large size corporations in the petroleum (retail/wholesale), manufacturing (food and beverage, tire, chemical), railroad, and upstream oil/natural gas exploration sectors, we'd love to speak with you.  Companies who are solely-owned or owners with controlling interest are preferred.

Sierra offers a wide degree of flexibility as to branch management/ownership depending on the size of organization (people and revenue), assets, preferred exit strategy and income desires.

Please contact Jen Davis for more information.
