Privately owned and headquartered in Woodstock, Georgia, a northwestern suburb of Atlanta, Sierra Piedmont is a national leader in environmental consulting, site assessments, compliance and remediation. For over 10 years, our commitment to clients, client relationships, the markets we serve and proven solutions to environmental problems has been our focus. Businesses from Fortune 100 companies to regional firms in 48 states rely on our advice, guidance and support to solve their environmental problems and limit liability.

Scott Pate founded Sierra Piedmont in 1996 and serves as the President/CEO. He has dedicated his entire career, spanning 25 years, to the practice and application of geology and related technical sciences. A graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University with a Master’s Degree in Geology, Scott began his career in the oil industry having worked extensively in the land and off-shore exploration division of Schlumberger, LTD. His responsibilities currently include fostering existing and developing new customer relationships, guiding the firm’s strategic direction, and ensuring that all aspects of the firm’s yearly business plan are implemented.
